Barghest Roles
Leader
As you should already know the leader has free reign of the alliance. However, will always try an do what's best for the alliance as a whole. The leader can start and end wars, promote/demote any individual, remove and discipline anyone in the alliance. The leader will handle all official business of Barghest including goals/rules and can override any decision that is presented by members or leadership using his/her best interest
(The alliance leader can be voted out by more than 75% of the senior acting leadership. Senior leadership is defined by anyone above the rank of General.)
Deputy (2IC)
Head Deputy in the alliance. 1st member to take charge in the absence of the leader and perform his/her necessary duties until he/she is relieved. Performs various tasks and initiatives throughout the alliance.
Deputy (War & Peace)
This deputy is the head of war marshals/diplomats, mass attacks (which shall be coordinated with the leader) and leading efforts with the leader in war. He/she is responsible for choosing war marshals and diplomats to carry out alliance business.
Deputy Barghest Champion
Special projects/missions, and morale initiatives as assigned by leader; intended to preserve the Honor of Barghest through fire and brimstone.
Deputy Recruiting & Treasury (Diplomacy)
Deputy is responsible for recruiters and treasurers and in addition to appointing those in those positions, shall be ultimately responsible for their performance. Personal responsibilities include (but are not limited to) interacting with other alliances for recruiting interests, which may bleed into diplomacy issues. He/she is a compliment to (and not a replacement) of our diplomats' duties.
Deputy Evil Genius (Planning/Conniving)
A unique roll for a unique soul. Aside from handling various special projects for Barghest (most of which will never come to knowledge of most). The deputy is essential in compiling data and other essential information that is required for the everyday operation of a successful alliance.
Other Roles & Responsibilities:
This role is of teaching, training, serving and leading. War Marshals should have a long fuse and lots of explosives, not a short fuse attached to a fire cracker. Selected by, and reports to Deputy of War/Peace. War Marshals have the power to declare war, but should leave initiating wars to the deputies/leader, unless otherwise requested. War Marshals should call defense for incoming attacks when online, and run masses as coordinated with the Deputy of War and Peace, and help plan attacks.
Treasurer
A very important, yet often thankless role. Pulling loot, real estate management, ensuring we are profitable in assets as well as achieving goals, website work, etc.. In alliance work, also a very elevated leadership position within the alliance. Requires dependability and dedication. Reports to the Deputy of Recruiting/Treasury.
Diplomat
This role requires a well rounded individual to fill it. Diplomats need to be well connected: traveling to different alliances, making new friends...should be the first ones to make contact after a war declaration to find out the problem and communicate it accordingly to war marshals and deputies. Diplomats should feel out friends and foes alike and dictate to leadership whether they feel war or peace should be justified. A very important, sometimes stressful role is the one that networks Barghest to other alliances on the map.
Recruiter
Recruiters' main purpose: to build and improve the alliance. Finding strong recruits, coordinating with Deputy of Recruiting and Treasury about potential recruiting targets; ensuring all recruits are 18 years of age and not easily offended or offensive to others. Always evaluating members for "fun first" and ensure that they are enjoying the game. Ruby buying indicates an investment in the game and an easier player to grow and develop...hence their desirability.
General
Requirement: Level 50 or greater, at least 1800 honor, minimum glory title of Prince
Elevated alliance members who have set themselves apart from the group. Generals have proven their dedication to the alliance and hold admiration amongst their peers. These selections are made from the cream of the crop and have literally earned their stripes. Generals are natural leaders and helpers to any who require and are always the first to respond or join in on alliance masses and other duties whenever they have an opportunity to be of service. Generals are key in the everyday development of members to become strong beasts here at Barghest.
Sergeant
Requirement: Level 40 or above, at least 1500 honor, minimum glory title of Arch Duke
Sergeants are members who have that extra potential to take charge. Sergeants are elevated members of Barghest who continue to grow and aid in the growth of others around them. Model members, they are always ready to give a helping hand whether it be in advice or resources from what knowledge they have attained throughout their journey in this game.
Member
Requirement: No Level requirement, at least 1200 honor, (100k loot below Level 50 / 200k loot Level 50 and above), no glory requirement
Everyone in Barghest that has not reached the threshold of Sergeant or above. Our core mixture of people that who make us what we are. These are chosen individuals who are especially selected or invited by recruiters or leadership based on their makeup and attributes that aid our alliance and develop our gaming environment into the greatness that it has become. Members do not join, they are chosen; because they have more than what it takes to represent greatness!

Membership Evaluation Process
Membership is evaluated on a monthly basis. The requirements such as (100k loot below Level 50) is processed through a running 4 week period. We all understand that from time to time, Real Life scenarios play out and may not allow members to maintain requirements, (vacation, work projects, etc...) that is why the membership qualifications are based on your prior 4 week average. This applies to loot as well as honor.
On the first Monday of each month this data is reviewed to ensure that members are participating as they should. This game is about fun, and that is why "requirements" are minimal...In no way should requirements be viewed as "goals". Do you strive to be a baseline achiever in real life? I would hope the answer is no...we strive to be the best; friendly competition is what makes us come to life. All of that being said, this is a game and you should have fun... If you view this requirement as a burden other than simply a baseline, it might do you good to re-evaluate if this alliance is the right one for you. We certainly don't want to steal the fun from anyone.

All leadership personnel will take action in an emergency situation, including answering in chat regarding questionable hits. Should a Deputy be required to step into another role temporarily, they will PM/Skype the applicable deputy to avoid mixed messages.
